History of Boyke Manor Ottinge

Boyke Manor, House
A grade 2 star listed building, built 1490-1510 for the De Ladd family.

Edward Elgar the composer's Great Grandfather lived there.

Some old Documents found in the house mentioned Cromwell’s brother lived there and Nelsons second in command at the Battle of the Nile lived there.

In the mid 1930's the house was visited by the King & Queen of Siam.

Boyke Manor Barn History
A grade 2 listed building dating from the 16th century.

Its main purpose was storage and threshing of arable crops, when empty used for animals.

Completely restored 2007-2010.
